For Fashionable Families: Nordic Sports in ArberLand

It is not all about steep skiing slopes or daring snowboard stunts. Cross country skiing with its skating, classic and cruising options or snow shoe walking are also fashionable: In ArberLand there are more than 600 kilometres of cleared trails. And almost every village in ArberLand has its own network of trails.

The High Bavarian Forest Trail is well known. A special tip is the stretch through unspoilt nature along the Czech border. Anyone who wants to do the whole trail in one go has quite a task in front of them: 150 kilometres. But it can also be tackled in stages.

The marked trail is also ideal for Nordic Walking, Nordic Trail Running and Nordic Inline Skating in summer.
