Biathlon in the Bavarian Forest: Cross country skiing and shooting

Doing instead of just watching: in Kinderland this even applies to biathlon. At the Hohenzollern Ski Stadium at the Arbersee there is one of the few opportunities in the Bavarian Forest to try out the combination of cross country skiing and shooting.

In this snow sure area at the foot of the Great Arber, holiday guests have the chance to try out biathlon under professional supervision. The stadium is a well known venue for various European Cup and Championship competitions.

Biathlon like a Professional
Amateurs can have a go at a professional venue, firstly testing their fitness with cross country skiing and then approaching the shooting stands with racing pulse, trying to steady their hands. There are eight sections and a total of 30 shooting lanes, giving plenty of opportunity for testing in cross country skiing and shooting.
